The downside of not drinking coffee was that I could hardly wake up. On safari we called this a "lion" (lie in - get it?) The dogs and I slept until noon every day, then they slept some more while I watched movies. Of the movies I saw, Salt B+, Secretariat C, Social Network B, Percy Jackson B-.
The dogs sleeping:
Kate's not really sleeping, she trying to communicate how desperately important daily work is for her psyche.
I took them swimming a few times, they all had a blast. Fergie even got to do some agility with me this weekend.
On the way home from Independence Day celebration of lots of food I saw a double rainbow. The lower one looked to have extra rings to it. Interesting though hard to see on these photos that I definitely did NOT take while driving. ;)
Gary and Bayer had a good time in New York. They won the Classic Plastic division of the Skyhoundz Extreme Distance Qualifier on Saturday, but unfortunately Bayer burned a pad sometime during the day so he didn't get to play in the AWI Qualifier on Sunday (it was pouring down rain too, not great conditions for a ripped pad). So hopefully they qualify at Purina in a few weeks. Bayer's making his Quad comeback there as well! :)

Carribean Crazy Ants? They go for sugar and water. Glad you were able to get rid of them.
Not sure what they were but they didn't touch the Avermectin baits I put out at first. Loved Terro (Borax) though!
Terro rocks!!
Quitting caffeine is so worth it! I've done it a few times and am currently on a (almost) no-caffeine streak. Just a small cup of coffee every once in awhile, when I'm particularly tired. Just don't quit caffeine for a year or two then start back up with a medium turtle mocha--made that mistake in law school.
Haa I see you've seen the wonders of Terro as well! ;)
Yeah I really would like to quit drinking coffee everyday as I feel pretty dependent on it. I need a support group or something lol. Maybe just slowly weaning is a better idea.
I've been pretty amazed I haven't had ants at my house yet, but at my mom's we had them a lot when we were kids and always used Terro. It is fascinating to watch them swarm to it. And a sick kind of satisfaction knowing they are all going to back home to die!!
I like to go cold turkey and pick up something else that is not as bad for the first week or so. I drank a lot of tea at first.
ROFL you get it! Yes! I couldn't peel myself away, gleefully laughing at them all climbing over each other to get to the Terro. Heehee Die little ants!
Good idea. I love tea!
Looks like y'all had a great weekend! Both relaxing and fun!
