All together now. Awwwwww.

So I mentioned a Sheltie puppy on Kate's blog last week. I have a weakness for smaller Shelties. I used to run a tiny Hemi occasionally and I enjoyed that probably more than even running Kate, boy she was a wild ride! Still, I don't think Sheltie is a breed I'll ever own, just not my thing. Never say never though.

I introduce to you my friend's puppy - Slick

Not much going on around here. Summer lull. Java went to agility class this week, a little disc here and there. Swimming. Trin and Java are swimming freaks, thank God because otherwise they wouldn't be in any kind of shape at all this summer. Gotta have an off season though, and this is it.

Fergie's tiny training sessions are going well, she is a funny dog to work. She actually smiles. Like moves her lips. It's the strangest thing, I need to photograph it. Bayer's being Bayer. Life is good when you are a disc dog rockstar. He's off to Denver next weekend to try to beat Kate in the Quad. Good luck boys. Cough. ;)

An interesting Bayer Quad video if you're interested... here

i love the quad video. one of the coolest disc dog videos ever. the slow-mo is GREAT. it would be awesome if it had slow-mo and full speed for the throwing portion. it's nice to see slow-mo to learn how the throw is made, but would also be nice at full speed to get the full effect of the arm speed. you probably didn't make the video?

Nope, that was made by Chris of DiscDogNation.com fame. I love it too, fascinating.
